In this section you can find the list of most frequently asked questions regarding our Sponsorship Program.

1. How do I become a sponsor?
If you just follow the instructions on the attached forms, that will help.

2. Do I ever communicate with my sponsored child?
If you want to communicate with the child it must go through the coordinator in Manila - as direct contact can cause problems (eg the child's family may ask for more money from you for personal things!)

3. Is there ever a cut-off time in the year to be able to become a sponsor (ie, does sponsorship have to take place before the school year begins)?
No. You can begin to sponsor at any time - we have many children who are waiting. By faith we have enrolled many in school just trusting that the lord will provide all their needs through new supporters before the end of the year.

4. Is there a limit to the number of children that can be sponsored relative to classroom and staff size?
We are already supporting 265 children - and have a vision to support 1,000 children. We have our own preschools, but the rest are supported to go to local schools so actually there is no limit to the number.

5. Does sponsorship end at completion of university?
Sponsors are always given an option of when they continue or when they stop support. At the end of Elementary school, they are asked of they want to support the child in High School - also at the end of High School they are asked if they want to support the student in university or college.

6. If a child does not/cannot stay in school can they still be sponsored?
If the child does not stay in school or is excluded from the program (rules are strict about drugs, etc) then the sponsor is asked if they would like to support another child.

7. If a person does not want/cannot continue to be sponsored, do funds go toward sponsoring another child?
Usually this is the case, but this again depends on the decision of the sponsor.
