This is an urban poor area situated along the railway track in Manila. Many families have settled here on land that is not their own. The ministry here began as an outreach from the ministry of BL in Balik-Balik (a similar area that has now been demolished).
Bukang Liwayway has a child sponsorship program and health program here as well as house church planting. Much of the ministry is done beside the railway track, but Lord willing, Bukang Liwayway will open a ministry centre here soon.
Many of the homes here have been demolished (see above) but the work continues and God is touching lives here.
